When an appointment booking is made, Nick commits this time to be available to provide consultation to you, usually on a regular, on-going basis. Unlike most other professional services, cancellations made within a few days before the session usually cannot be filled. Therefore,

appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total of your normal fee.

If no notice is given the full fee will be payable.Cancellation fees are not claimable as a rebate from Medicare or private health insurance.

Confidentiality

All personal information gathered by the psychologist during the provision of the psychological service will remain confidential and secure except where:

It is subpoenaed by a court, or Failure to disclose the information would place you or another person at serious and imminent risk; or your prior approval has been obtained to provide a written report to another professional or agency. eg. a GP or a lawyer; or discuss the material with another person, eg. a parent or employer; or if disclosure is otherwise required or authorised by law.
